Microsoft Teams

Enterprise AI knowledge assistant for Microsoft Teams

What is Microsoft Teams?

Microsoft Teams is the collaboration hub for Microsoft 365 enterprise organizations. It combines messaging, meetings, and file sharing in one platform and is the primary communication tool for many enterprise support and IT teams.

Integration

How Kelu works with Microsoft Teams

Everything you can do once the integration is connected.

01

Channel-level access

Anyone in a channel with the bot can ask it, and it answers from restricted documents too, so connect only knowledge bases that channel may see.

02

Department-scoped knowledge

Pick which knowledge bases each bot answers from — an HR bot queries HR policies, an engineering bot queries technical docs.

03

Adaptive Card citations

Answers are delivered as Microsoft Adaptive Cards with clickable citation links, providing a native Teams UI experience.

04

Conversation history

Bot answers appear under Conversations with their citations and 👍/👎 ratings. With zero data retention, they are not stored at all.

Setup

How to set it up

  1. 1

Create a bot registration in Azure and note its App ID and App password.

  2. 2

In Kelu, go to Integrations > Chat bots, click Add bot, choose Microsoft Teams, pick the knowledge bases, and enter the App ID and App password.

  3. 3

Paste the Webhook URL from the bot's card as your Azure bot's Messaging Endpoint. Then mention the bot in a channel, or chat with it directly.
